Administration > Daily Dosing Log

The Daily Workstation Dosing Log application window is launched by clicking on the Daily Dosing Log menu item found on the Administration menu. From this application window, the details about individual dosing transactions performed on the workstation, can be reviewed for a selected date. A process has been built into the dosing procedure that will automatically create a local file that contains all doses a workstation has dispensed in a given day, including dispensed inventory details. This log file is needed in the event the facilities Methasoft server goes down and a backup has to be restored. This file will allow Methasoft Support to see what doses were dispensed that might have been lost in the period since the last transaction log backup. This local log file is located in the file path: X:\Program Files (x86)\Netalytics\Methasoft\DailyDosingLogs\. This feature is also useful in unique situations where the patient's doses were not recorded in Methasoft for whatever reason, allowing Methasoft Support technicians to review what doses (if any) were recorded in the Daily Dose Log. Each individual patient's dosing transactions are displayed separately in the grid. Each dosing record can be expanded to display Inventory details about the dosing transaction.

Considerations

All Dosing Transactions are Logged Even if Undone.

The Daily Workstation Dosing Log stores all dosing tractions performed from the workstation, even when the original dosing transaction is undone from the Dose Patient screen. Undoing the dose does not remove the initial dosing record from the log. This feature is used as a review tool only and therefore, dosing transactions cannot be undone or edited from this application window. Dosing transactions can only be undone using the Undo button on the Dose Patient screen. *See the Undo Dosing Transaction procedure for more information.
