Workstation Settings

Administration > Workstation Settings

The Workstation Settings item on the Administration menu launches the Workstation Settings screen. This screen is typically reserved for Methasoft Support technicians and is used for configuring Methasoft compatible peripherals like methadone pumps, signature pads, and biometric fingerprint readers. This screen is designed to replace deprecated Methasoft Pharmacy Automated Pump Preferences and peripheral configuration settings found in the 'Methasoft Client Config' file. An advantage of using this screen is the ability to configure multiple peripherals, for different client computers, all from one central screen. This screen is required when a facility is using a combination of SciLog and Accuvert methadone pumps. It's highly recommended to contact Methasoft Support prior to using this screen.

Considerations

Contact Methasoft Support Before Using this Screen

Due to the highly technical nature of this screen and it's interaction with dosing peripherals, it is highly recommended that users contact Methasoft Support prior to using this screen. Incorrect configuration settings can cause issues with methadone pumps and other dispensing hardware that will delay or stop a facilities dosing process.
