Report:  Total Patients Dosed by Day

This report displays the daily total of patients dosed, and the total number of doses and takeouts administered each day for each Drug/Dose Type combination dispensed in a facility.  Totals are also provided for each date that include all Drug/Dose Type combinations dispensed in a facility.  Grand totals are provided covering the entire selected date range.  This report is used for a variety of reasons in numerous facilities, including auditing, statistical, and billing/accounting purposes.

Report Column Explanations

Drug Type

This column displays the 'Drug Type' of dispensing transactions recorded for each row of totals.

Dose Type

This column displays the 'Dose Type' of dispensing transactions recorded for each row of totals.

Total Doses Given

This column displays the total number of daily doses dispensed of each 'Drug Type'/'Dose Type' combination on each dose date.

Total Takeouts Given

This column displays the total number of daily takeouts dispensed of each 'Drug Type'/'Dose Type' combination on each dose date.  This number only reflects the number of daily takeout doses and does not include split-dose takeouts.

Total Patients Dosed

This column displays the total number of patients who received medication of each 'Drug Type'/'Dose Type' combination on each dose date.

Report Field Explanations

(Dose Date)

This field displays the date on which each set of dosing transactions was entered on the Dose Patient screen.

Total Patients Dosed on (Date)

This field displays the totals for the 'Total Doses Given', 'Total Takeouts Given', and 'Total Patients Dosed' columns for each date, including all 'Drug Type'/'Dose Type' combinations dispensed.

Total Patients Dosed

This field displays the totals for the 'Total Doses Given', 'Total Takeouts Given', and 'Total Patients Dosed' columns for all dates included in the selected date range, including all 'Drug Type'/'Dose Type' combinations dispensed.

Criteria Explanations

From Date

This parameter allows users to limit the report's data to display only daily dispensing totals for dosing transactions entered on or after the date selected here.

To Date

This parameter allows users to limit the report's data to display only daily dispensing totals for dosing transactions entered on or before the date selected here.

Drug Type

This parameter allows users to limit the report's data to display only daily dispensing totals for dosing transactions of the 'Drug Type' selected here.

Dose Type

This parameter allows users to limit the report's data to display only daily dispensing totals for dosing transactions of the 'Dose Type' selected here.
