Report:  Patient Drug Screen Results

This report displays a patient's drug screen result history over a selected date range.  Many facilities generate this report periodically to file in each patient's chart.  This report is also commonly provided to outside agencies when a drug screen history is requested, for example by a patient's probation officer.

Report Column Explanations

Date

This column displays the 'Test Date' recorded for each drug screen result on the Drug Screen Results screen.

Test Type

This column displays the 'Drug Screen Type' recorded for each drug screen result on the Drug Screen Results screen.

Meth - Oxy

These columns represent the substances tested for at your facility.  An 'X' in these columns indicates the corresponding substance was detected for each test date.

Obv

This column displays an 'X' for every test marked as 'Observed' on the Drug Screen Results screen.

Event

This column displays the 'Drug Screen Event' recorded for each drug screen result on the Drug Screen Results screen.

Other

This column displays the 'Other Information' text recorded for each drug screen result on the Drug Screen Results screen.

Report Field Explanations

CID

This field displays the patient's 'State ID (CID)' number as recorded on the Patient Profile screen.

Total Undesired Results

This field totals the quantity of undesirable results for each substance tested in the panel at your facility.  For most substances, a positive result is undesirable.  However Methadone and Methadone Metabolites are expected to test positive, thus negative results are undesirable for these substances.  Substances are configured in the database as needed at the time your drug panel is configured.  The quantity of 'Observed' drug screens is also totaled in this field.

Total Drug Screens

This field displays the total number of drug screen result test dates displayed on the report.

Criteria Explanations

Patient ID

This parameter allows users to limit the report's data to only display drug screen results recorded for the patient whose 'Patient ID' is entered here.

From Date

This parameter allows users to limit the report's data to only display drug screen results entered with a 'Test Date' on or after the date selected here.

To Date

This parameter allows users to limit the report's data to only display drug screen results entered with a 'Test Date' on or before the date selected here.
