Report:  Inventory Units Added Summary by Rx

This report displays a summary of all unit doses added to unit inventory over a selected date range, for a specific Dispense Date, and/or added by a specific user, but sorted by prescription number.  In facilities creating unit doses ahead of time, this report is generally run following each instance in which units are created, and signed by the staff member(s) preparing the doses.  It is also often compared with physical counts of the new units created to ensure accuracy.  Each row of units on this report is associated with an Rx Number, for facilities tracking Methadone prescription numbers.

Report Column Explanations

Date Units Added

This column displays the date each group of units was created in Methasoft.

Dose Amount

This column displays the mg amount for each unit or group of units displayed.

Number of Units Added

This column displays quantity of unit doses added on each date for each Dose Amount displayed.

Total Mgs Added

This column displays the total number of mgs added to unit inventory for each Dose Amount on each date.

Rx Number

This column displays the Methadone prescription number associated with the unit dose(s) displayed in each row.

Report Field Explanations

Inventory Type

This field displays the type of inventory, Bulk or Unit, being displayed, which on this report is always Unit.

Total Units Added

This field displays the total number of unit doses added to Methasoft on each date.

Starting Mgs

This field displays the total number of mgs contained in the units added on each date.

Current Mgs

This field displays the current total number of mgs remaining in the units added on each date.  This number will be '0' if all units added on a date have been dispensed or otherwise removed from unit inventory.

Criteria Explanations

From Date

This parameter allows users to limit the report's data to only display unit doses added on or after the date selected here.

To Date

This parameter allows users to limit the report's data to only display unit doses added on or before the date selected here.

Drug Type

This parameter allows users to limit the report's data to only display unit doses added for the 'Drug Type' selected here.

Dose Type

This parameter allows users to limit the report's data to only display unit doses added for the 'Dose Type' selected here.

Dispense Date

This parameter allows users to limit the report data to display only units with a selected 'Dispense Date', which is generally the date on which a unit dose is physically created and added in Methasoft.

Entered By

This parameter allows users to limit report data to display only one particular user's entries.  Available selections will include all active staff members.
