Report:  Inventory Reconciles

This report displays a list of all Bulk and Unit Inventory reconcile transactions recorded over a selected date range.  The inventory type, reconcile date/time, reconcile type, drug/dose type combination, amount, and bottle barcode ID are displayed for each reconcile transaction, as well as the employee ID (user ID) of the user who recorded each transaction.  A grand net total of mgs for all displayed transactions is also provided.  This report is generally used to view inventory reconciliation activities over extended date ranges.

 

 

Report Column Explanations

 

Inventory Type

This column displays the which type of inventory, Bulk or Unit, was affected by the reconcile transaction.

Reconcile Date/Time

This column displays the date and time each reconcile transaction was entered in the system.

Reconcile Type

This column displays the type (description) of each reconcile transaction recorded, which corresponds to the 'Reconcile Action' fields on the Reconcile Bulk Inventory and Reconcile Units screens.

Drug Type

This column displays the 'Drug Type' of the medication reconciled for each transaction.

Dose Type

This column displays the 'Dose Type' of the medication reconciled for each transaction.

Amount

This column displays the mg amount of each reconcile transaction.  A negative value indicates the mg amount was deducted from inventory.

Bottle ID

This column displays the unique Bulk or Unit barcode ID of the bottle from which each reconcile transaction was recorded.

Entered By

This column displays the 'Employee ID' (User ID) of the user who entered each reconcile transaction in the system.

 

Report Field Explanations

 

Total

This field displays the overall net mg total for the reconcile transactions listed on the report.

 

Criteria Explanations

 

From Date

This parameter allows users to limit the report's data to only display reconcile transactions entered on or after the date selected here.

To Date

This parameter allows users to limit the report's data to only display reconcile transactions entered on or before the date selected here.

Drug Type

This parameter allows users to limit the report's data to only display reconcile transactions entered for the 'Drug Type' selected here.

Dose Type

This parameter allows users to limit the report's data to only display reconcile transactions entered for the 'Dose Type' selected here.

Transaction Type

This parameter allows users to limit the report data to display only one particular type of inventory transaction.  This allows facilities to easily view how many transactions of a particular type occurred over extended date ranges.  Transaction Types are programmed in Methasoft, and include:

 

Add To Unit: Refers to adding mgs to existing unit doses on the Add to Existing Units screen.

Delete Unit Bottle: Refers to deleting a unit dose on the Reconcile Units screen.

Destroyed: Refers to recording a Destruction reconcile action on either the Reconcile Bulk Inventory or Reconcile Units screens.

Reconcile - Discrepancy: Refers to the automatic recording of liquid bulk 'bottle differences' when bulk bottles are switched on the Switch Bulk Bottles screen.

Reconcile Inventory: Refers to other generic reconciliation actions such as 'Add' or 'Subtract'.

Record Spill: Refers to recording a Record Spill reconcile action on either the Reconcile Bulk Inventory or Reconcile Units screens.

Record Waste: Refers to recording a Record Waste reconcile action on either the Reconcile Bulk Inventory or Reconcile Units screens.

Return to Bulk: Refers to recording a Return to Bulk reconcile action on the Reconcile Units screen.

Return to Manufacturer: Refers to recording a Return to Manufacturer reconcile action on the Reconcile Bulk Inventory screen.

Return to Patient: Refers to recording a Return to Patient reconcile action on the Reconcile Bulk Inventory screen.

This parameter allows users to expand report data by displaying the comment recorded with each reconcile action.
