Report:  Inventory Bulk Totals by Lot

This report displays your current bulk inventory totals for each drug and dose type combination, as well as grand totals for each drug type, just as the Inventory Bulk Totals report.  However the 'Lot Number Like' criteria filter allows this report to be run only for bottles of a particular Lot Number.  Most facilities print this report when wanting to view bottle totals only for a specific Lot.

Report Column Explanations

# of Unopened Bottles

This column displays the number of bulk bottles with a status of 'Received', meaning they've never been opened in Methasoft.

# of Opened Bottles

This column displays the number of bulk bottles with any status other than 'Received', indicating these bottles have been opened in Methasoft.

# of Units

This column displays the number of units of medication left, as calculated for each drug/dose type combination using the 'Mgs Contained in One Unit' information stored on the Inventory Dispensing Rules screen.

Bottle Size (mgs)

This column displays the number of mgs contained in a new bottle of medication for each drug/dose type combination using the 'Mgs contained in New Bottle' information stored on the Inventory Dispensing Rules screen.

Unit of Measure (mgs)

This column displays the number of mgs contained in one unit of medication, which is pulled for each drug/dose type combination from the 'Mgs contained in One Unit' information stored on the Inventory Dispensing Rules screen.

UnOpened Total Mgs

This column displays a calculation equal to the # of Unopened Bottles multiplied by the Bottle Size (mgs).

Total Mgs

This column displays the total mgs currently in your inventory for each drug/dose type combination, including a grand total at the bottom of each page for each drug type.

Current Amount (mgs)

In the Opened Bottle Breakdown section, this field displays the current amount of mgs remaining in any 'Opened' bottles for each drug/dose type combination.

This section displays detailed information for each bulk bottle with an 'Opened' status in your bulk inventory.

Show Partial Bottles

The Opened Bottle Breakdown sections of this report will not be displayed unless this checkbox is checked when the report is generated.

Lot Number Like

This parameter allows users to enter any part of a lot number for bottles they want to view, limiting the report to only include bottles with lot numbers containing the text entered in this field.
