Report:  Dosing Preparation Sheet

This report displays all doses a facility will be expected to dispense over a selected date range, broken down by each drug/dose type combination.  Each patient expected to attend the facility is included on this report, including each patient's dose amount(s) and the number of doses needed for each amount.  This report is generally used by facilities preparing all patient doses ahead of time who are not using the Prepare Daily Pour screen.  The total number of units of medication needed for each dose type is included at the bottom of this report, which can be used to determine how many bulk bottles of each will be needed for the preparation task at hand.

Report Column Explanations

Phase

This column displays each patient's 'Phase Type', as saved for each on the Dosing Information screen.

Dose Amount

This column displays each patient's 'Dose Amount(s)', as saved for each on the Dosing Information screen.  Split-dose amounts are displayed on separate rows for each patient.

Doses

This column displays the number of doses needed for each patient, which is based on each patient's attendance schedule (and/or pending, approved orders) on the Dosing Information screen.

Total Mgs

This column displays the total number of mgs needed to prepare each dose amount for each patient, which is the 'Dose Amount' multiplied by the number of 'Doses'.

Report Field Explanations

Grand Totals for (Drug Type)(Dose Type)

This field displays the total quantity of 'Doses' and 'Total Mgs' that need to be prepared for each drug/dose type combination.

Total (Dose Type) Units Needed (Primary Dose Type)

This field displays the total quantity of units of medication needed of the Primary Dose Type for each drug/dose type combination.

Total (Dose Type) Units Needed (Secondary Dose Type)

This field displays the total quantity of units of medication needed of the Secondary Dose Type for each drug/dose type combination.

Total (Dose Type) Units Needed (Tertiary Dose Type)

This field displays the total quantity of units of medication needed of the Tertiary Dose Type for each drug/dose type combination.

Criteria Explanations

From Date

This parameter is used to limit the report to display the doses to be prepared for the date range beginning with the date selected here.

To Date

This parameter is used to limit the report to display the doses to be prepared for the date range ending with the date selected here.

Phase Type

This parameter allows users to limit report data by displaying only patients of a selected Phase Type.
