Report: Demographic Summary by Payment Option
(Topic Last Updated On: 05/05/2010)
This report displays a historical breakdown of a facility's patient population by numerous demographic variables and each's assigned 'Payment Option' on the Payment Information screen, over a selected date range. Variables by which patient counts are broken down include time in treatment, employment status, and 'Patient Status' (Patient Profile screen). This report also provides a comprehensive breakdown of drug screen results by variables such as time in treatment, and opioid vs non-opiod positives. This report is generally used to review patient demographic statistics over extended date ranges broken down by assigned 'Payment Option'.
Patients served during date range and Time in Treatment Date
This section displays a breakdown of the patient population served at the facility during a selected criteria date range, broken down not only by assigned 'Payment Option' (Payment Information screen), but also by the number admitted and discharged inside or outside of the date range, as well as various 'Time in Tx' year ranges. These totals are based on demographic information stored for each patient each evening by Nightly Processes, as well as admissions entered on the Patient Profile, Payment Information, and Dosing Information screens, discharges entered on the Discharge/Transfer screen, and each patient's 'Time in Tx Starts On' date saved on the Dosing Information screen.
Employability/Employment and Employment by Time in Treatment Date
This section displays a breakdown of the patient population served at the facility during a selected criteria date range, broken down not only by assigned 'Payment Option' (Payment Information screen), but also by the number of employed, unemployed, and non-employable patients, as well as various 'Time in Tx' year ranges. These totals are based on demographic information stored for each patient each evening by Nightly Processes, as well as each patient's 'Employment' status selection entered on the Patient Profile screen (A patient is considered 'non-employable' when 'Disabled' is selected in this field). Each patient's 'Time in Tx Starts On' date (saved on the Dosing Information screen) is used for determining 'Time in Tx' statistics.
Patients Jail/Hospital Dosed during date range
This section displays a breakdown of the patient population served at the facility during a selected criteria date range, broken down not only by assigned 'Payment Option' (Payment Information screen), but also by the number of patients marked as 'In Jail' or 'In Hospital' in the 'Patient Status' field on the Patient Profile screen within the date range.
Urinalysis Results and Urinalysis Results by Time in Treatment Date
This section displays a breakdown of drug screen results entered for patients with a 'Test Date' within the selected criteria date range, broken down not only by the 'Payment Option' (Payment Information screen) each patient with drug screen results is assigned to, but also by the number of drug screen results positive for opioid vs non-opioid substances, as well as by 'Time in Treatment'. These totals are based on demographic information stored for each patient each evening by Nightly Processes, as well as drug screen results entered on the Drug Screen Results screen, and each patient's 'Time in Tx Starts On' date saved on the Dosing Information screen.

These columns correspond to the 'Payment Options' available for selection for each patient on the Payment Information screen. Each of these columns displays the total number of patients assigned to each for each breakdown variable.
